Frequency-conversion solar wireless targeting with four adjustable frequencies, suitable for more applications of C-type relay. Solar power supply and micro-power-consumption energy-saving design save electricity effectively. Highly sealed waterproof IP65, digital filtering and environmental adaptive function bring false positives and beam interference to the lowest level, making the unit suitable for a wide range of complex environments. High-capacity storage battery, monocrystalline solar panel and high-power wireless transmission frequency (433 / 315 MHz selectable) are standard; LoRa module is optional for complex long-range environments.

Product Characteristics

The solar beam adopts environmentally-friendly solar power supply, digital frequency-conversion technology and long-distance wireless transmission technology. It eliminates complex wiring and coding, and can be used immediately upon startup. Features include high cost-performance ratio, environmental friendliness, long service life, and easy installation and maintenance — it can satisfy power and alarm requirements without wiring. Typical sites include unmanned orchards, fish ponds, construction sites, border guard posts, guard booths, communication machine rooms and similar prevention-and-control areas.

Working Principle

The JHW is a through-beam infrared detector. The transmitter emits 2 or 3 digital-filter infrared beams (frequency-conversion light source) that travel in a straight line to the receiver. Under unobstructed conditions the receiver continuously captures every beam and holds a normal state. When an intruder or object crosses the perimeter and blocks the infrared beams together, the receiver loses the signal and triggers the alarm, sending it wirelessly at 315 / 433 MHz to the host.

The JHW is an active intrusion detector consisting of two solar-powered parts: an infrared transmitter(monocrystalline solar panel, built-in storage battery, frequency-conversion modulation circuit, digital-filter infrared emission module, beam-angle adjustment device, weatherproof IP65 shell) and an infrared receiver (solar panel and battery, photosensitive receiver, photoelectric signal processor, wireless 315 / 433 MHz transmission module and weatherproof IP65 cover). The multi-beam layout, digital filtering and four adjustable frequencies keep the false-alarm rate to a minimum outdoors.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far can the JHW solar wireless infrared beam detect?

The 2-beam JHW-100T2 covers an outdoor warning distance of 60–100 m, while the 3-beam JHW-100T3 reaches 50–200 m. Adding more beams improves rejection of small animals and wind-blown debris over long perimeter runs. For very remote or extended sites, an optional LoRa module extends the wireless link well beyond standard 315/433 MHz range.

Does the JHW detector really need no wiring or external power?

Correct. The JHW is fully solar-powered with a monocrystalline panel and built-in high-capacity battery, so no AC wiring is required. Just 2 days of sunlight provides around 30 days of operation, and the low-power energy-saving design keeps it running through cloudy spells. Alarm signals are sent wirelessly at 315/433 MHz, eliminating both power and signal cabling.

How does it avoid false alarms outdoors?

It uses a digital-filter infrared light source with frequency-conversion technology and four adjustable frequencies to reject interference from sunlight, rain and neighbouring beams. The environmental adaptive function reduces the false-alarm rate to a minimum, and the multi-beam (2 or 3) layout means a target must break all beams together before the NO/NC alarm output triggers.

Is the JHW suitable for harsh outdoor and unmanned sites?

Yes. The housing is rated IP65 weatherproof and the unit operates from −20 °C to +55 °C at up to 95 %RH non-condensing. Because it needs no cabling, it is ideal for unmanned orchards, fish ponds, construction sites, border guard posts and communication machine rooms where running mains cable is impractical or costly.

What is the difference between the 2-beam and 3-beam models?

The JHW-100T2 has two infrared beams and a 60–100 m range; the JHW-100T3 has three beams and a 50–200 m range. More beams increase detection reliability and help reject small intrusions, making the 3-beam version better for longer or higher-security perimeter walls. Both share the same 200 mA/pair current, DC 12–18 V supply, IP65 rating and wireless 315/433 MHz alarm.
